Pastel green crystals of pyromorphite splatter across a dark matrix for an attractive contrast. This specimen features crystals on both sides on the matrix and displays naturally on a third face that features no crystals.
The Little Giant Mine has not been commercially operated since 1904, however specimen collectors have still harvested crystals from the mine over the decades. The deposit is a sheer Breccia in St. Regis quartzite.
